REMEMBERING GEORGE W. BUSH . . .
I went to USAF Pilot Training with George W. Bush at Moody AFB in 1969. He was in the National Guard and I was a Marine. We were both serving our country.

After flight school George went to Texas and flew with the Air National Guard. I went to Vietnam and flew 250 combat missions over North and South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. I was shot at on almost every mission by missiles and anti-aircraft fire. I was serving my country and so was George Bush. <READ MORE>
BIOGRAPHY
Benny White enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1967 and went to OCS in 1968. He attended Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training with George Bush (1968-1969 at Moody AFB, GA).

White flew A-4s in Vietnam from 1970-1971. He was an instructor in USN Flight Training between 1971-1974. White is a 1975 graduate of the University of Arizona. From 1975 to 1988 he served with the Arizona National Guard as an Instructor Pilot on F-100 and A-7 aircraft.

White was Commander, Air National Guard, Fighter Weapons School from 1984 to 1986 and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1988. He was a pilot with Western Airlines 1978 to 1980 and has been flying for Delta Air Lines from 1986 to present. He is also currently attending law school at Concord University.
