COLONEL
'BUD' KENDRICK
Asst. Director of Wing Operations during George W. Bush training at Moody AFB

REMEMBERING GEORGE W. BUSH:
The personal traits and self-discipline George W. Bush developed in flight training are clearly evident in his performance as Commander-In-Chief. My personal observation of his skill as a student pilot during training sorties on October 22 and 23, 1969, showed his motivation
and desire to complete the program. His class began with 75 members and graduated 53 –
Lt. Bush earned his wings.
