REMEMBERING GEORGE W. BUSH . . .
I flew with then 1st Lt. Bush in the Texas Air Guard at Ellington AFB in the early 70's. I remember one night when we were out in the Gulf of Mexico, in the high altitude work area, when I lost my radio during an intercept with George. He rejoined with my aircraft and led me back to Ellington, where I landed safely. A job well done. It was a long time ago but I have always remembered that incident.

BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Buffalo, NY in 1942, graduated from Public School #78, Sweet Home High School and Buffalo State College with a B.S. in Secondary Social Studies Education. I qualified for flight school, but first had to be commissioned. With no flying experience, in fact, I was never even in an airplane . . .
