HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

As a small family business, we take great pride in preparing our products for safe shipment using our coveted white glove service. As a result, we kindly ask that you allow us up to seven business days to get your order in the mail. Once it ships, the following timelines apply for domestic orders:

PRINTS/POSTERS/GICLEES
All prints, posters and giclees ship via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail which can take up to five business days in transit. If you would like to upgrade to expedited shipping for a fee please email us at staff@valorstudios.com before placing your order.

BOOKS & PHOTOS
Two shipping options are available during checkout for domestic book orders, spanning 3 -12 business days in transit. For photos, all photos are sent by USPS First Class Mail which may take up to seven business days in transit. If you would like to upgrade to expedited shipping for a fee please email us at staff@valorstudios.com before placing your order.

SITES OF VALOR
All signs ship via US Postal Service Priority Mail which can take up to six business days in transit. If you would like to upgrade to expedited shipping for a fee please email us at staff@valorstudios.com before placing your order.

OPEN & INSPECT YOUR ORDER
Please open and inspect your purchased item immediately upon receipt. Any damage that occurs in transit needs to be reported to Valor Studios within one week of receiving the item. We will then help the buyer file an insurance claim with the proper shipping service. Please see “Insurance” below for additional information.

do you sell framed art?

We do not sell any framed or matted art, nor can we suggest framers in your area or have your item specially framed for you. All art shown in digital display frames can be replicated by any reputable framer and we recommend printing a photo to bring with you for visual reference. Please see our “Suggested Care” section for archival framing recommendations.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HAND-SIGNED?

Each Valor Studios product, if indicated as signed by the artist or a veteran, has been hand-autographed. We do not sell products with printed or mechanically reproduced signatures. Art prints are signed in pencil (unless noted otherwise). Photos, posters, giclees and books are signed in ink.

The art print you buy from Valor Studios has been in some remarkable hands. During a signing, a typical print is passed from veteran to veteran, often a dozen or more times. The WWII veterans we work with are between 97 and 102 years of age. For their diminishing eyesight and dexterity that comes with age, they do remarkably good work.

Invariably during this handling process, a print will pick up minor “battle damage.” An occasional speckle, a lead dot, a dimple, a slight pencil smudge, sometimes a veteran will go to pass a print and leave a thumb print or an indentation.

Rest assured, we hand-inspect each print to make sure that these unique features (and they are unique!) do not impact the viewing quality of the art when it’s framed, nor will they affect the print’s value since “battle damage” is part of the process in adding so many historic signatures.

If anything, this “battle damage” serves to authenticate that the signatures were hand signed and that your print was handled by some of the greatest heroes the United States has ever produced.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WINTERS OR SPEIRS SIGNED ART?

We are proud to be the only art publisher in the world to work with Major Dick Winters and Lt. Colonel Ron Speirs. Their autographs appeared on certain editions of "We Were a Band of Brothers," "Silencing the Guns," "Night of Nights," "Hang Tough, Bastogne 1944," and "The Eagle's Nest," though all of these editions sold out more than 15 years ago.

Occasionaly, we will have one of these ultra-rare prints available for resale, however the pricing reflects the incredible demand for them with each print starting at a minimum of $7,000. If this is a price point that you're comfortable with, please email us at staff@valorstudios.com, specifically saying so, and we can put you on our wait list for notification the next time one comes available for resale.  

what payment methods do you accept?

Our website accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Apple Pay, ShopPay, PayPal, and Google Pay. We can accept checks and money orders so please email us and we'll provide instructions on where to mail them.

do you have Payment Plans?

We offer Payment Plans on orders with a total of $500 and above through two providers:  

SHOPPAY
Installment payments are available to qualified purchasers at checkout. Just click the ShopPay button when checking out from the shopping cart.

PARTIAL.LY
We've teamed up with the leading e-commerce company, Partial.ly, to offer four-month payment plans. A $5 fee is incorporated into the plan cost to cover the credit card processing and service fee from Partial.ly. To start a Partial.ly plan, please email us at: staff@ValorStudios.com

do you accept Returns?

All items are in mint condition when they leave our offices and since our high quality products match our straightforward, accurate product descriptions, Valor Studios does not allow returns, refunds, or exchanges for products unless a wrong item has been shipped. If there are any questions concerning a product please contact us before purchasing.

Any damage which is discovered post-delivery needs to be reported to Valor Studios within 1 week of receipt of the item so we can help you file an insurance claim with the shipping service. Please see “My Order Arrived Damaged” below for additional information.

do you ship InternationalLY?

Yes, but please note that in addition to the shipping fee charged by Valor Studios your country will charge an import/VAT tax prior to, or in the weeks after, delivery. Any customs duties or special taxes levied by individual countries or governments will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. We are not able to pre-calculate or pre-pay these taxes.

If there is a charge, it will be based on the package insurance value/product purchase price. Please contact your local post office for information on what those charges will be PRIOR to purchasing. If a package is refused at delivery due to inability to pay VAT fees, there will be no refund for said item.

We follow all declaration guidelines of our international carriers and we are not allowed to declare items at less than their purchase price.

The cost to ship internationally has increased almost monthly. If you wish to explore less expensive shipping options please email us at staff@valorstudios.com and we will see if other options are available. Shipping is not a profit center for our company and we keep costs as low as we’re able while guaranteeing your product will be delivered in mint condition.

Once a shipment has left the United States we do not have access to it- so please contact the carrier with your tracking number to rearrange delivery or get updated tracking intel.

my order arrived damaged - what should i do?

We insure all products shipped from our office. Do not file a damaged shipping claim on your own. Filing a claim independently will nullify our insurance and we will no longer be liable to provide you with a refund.

Please follow the instructions below to help us file a claim on your behalf:

1.     Report the damage to staff@valorstudios.com immediately upon receipt and follow the steps below. Failure to report damages upon receipt of the item will result in the inability to file a claim.

2.     Hold onto all exterior and interior packing materials and the product.

3.     Please email us 3 photos: 1 photo of the exterior packaging, 1 photo of the interior packaging, and 1 photo of the damaged product. If the shipment has multiple products or components that were damaged, please submit photos of each item. 

4.     You must retain all of the shipment (exterior and interior packaging and damaged product) while the claim is processed.

5.     Once the claim has progressed, the insurance company will require the customer to sign an online affidavit of damages. We will provide a link that takes you to the insurance company verification website and it’s a 30 second process.

6.     Once the claim has been processed, we will indicate whether the item/packaging needs returned to Valor or to the shipping authority. Once that is completed, we will issue a full refund.

7.     Replacement products will be considered for domestic shipments only on a case-by-case basis depending on availability.

For international orders please note:

International claims must follow the steps above and be aware that due to the limited nature of our products and the complexity of international shipping, Valor will be able to issue an order refund only (product replacements are not available) once the claim is complete.

Also, the customer will need to petition the delivery company or local governing agency for any return of VAT/customs fees paid to those agencies. Valor is not able to contact those individuals on your behalf, nor are we able to refund those government fees.

 

MY ORDER IS MISSING - WHAT SHOULD I DO?

My order shows as “Delivered” and I do not have it...
We have access to the same tracking information that you do. We do not have special contact with the driver, distribution center, your local post office, or any other shipping contact.

The first thing you need to do is check the tracking information. Often, it will state whether the item was left in a specific location, or sometimes the driver will deliver to a local pick-up location and the customer will need to schedule redelivery.

If the shipment went via the US Postal Service, please have the tracking number on hand and call (or visit) your local post office immediately as they can quickly question the driver on where the item was left.

We do not have the phone number for your local post office, nor can we call them on your behalf as we are not the recipient. A quick internet search will bring you to their number. If they are not able to find said item, please let us know as we will start a missing package claim.

If the shipment went via UPS, please email us at staff@valorstudios.com and we will start a missing package claim.

My order has not arrived and there are no updated scans within the tracking information for one full week...

1. Please email us at staff@valorstudios.com and alert us to the issue. We will file a missing shipment investigation with the appropriate shipping authority. These investigations often take 1-3 weeks to complete, so once a claim is started expect a wait while they attempt to locate the package.
2. If the item remains unfound, Valor will follow through with the appropriate steps to claim a full refund for you.

 

how are your Veteran signers Compensated?

During Valor Studios' humble beginnings, we compensated our veteran signers by giving each several thousand dollars worth of prints and an all expenses paid reunion with their comrades. In the ensuing years, as Valor Studios grew, we were finally able to pay the veterans for their efforts with a cash honorarium in addition to continuing their payment in art prints.

For many of our signers, working with Valor Studios provides them with their only source of income outside of social security. Know that when you purchase an item from Valor Studios, you're not only supporting an all-American family business, but also the veterans who sign our products. We're proud to say that some of our veteran friends have been signing with us for 15+ years!

I HAVE A SOLD OUT PRINT, WILL YOU BUY IT BACK?

Due to prolific repurchasing of sold-out prints over the last several years we are not purchasing back any prints for the foreseeable future. If you wish to sell your print on your own, we recommend watching our print resale listings to get an idea of suggested pricing. Keep in mind your personal print’s value may vary depending on print condition, framing, specific signers, etc.. Resale venues include Ebay.com, other military art dealers, local auction houses, Facebook marketplace, and through private sale.

CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY?

Due to the limited number of certificates printed for each project, we are not able to issue replacements.

can you value my collection?

We wish we could help however due to the large number of sold out print editions in circulation (over 90!) we are unable to keep up-to-date on their current values. As a result, we are unable to provide this service. We recommend you watch our website for similar listings, Ebay.com for print sales (listings alone are not enough to verify value), and other dealers for listings.

can you get me my order history?

With 20+ years of selling limited edition products to more than 15,000 customers around the world, we simply do not have the staff to be able to look up and supply individual purchase histories.

what is your Mailing List and Copyright Policy?

As a Valor Studios customer, you are automatically entered to receive our free "V-Mail" e-mail newsletter. If you do not wish to receive our "V-Mail" updates, simply send us an e-mail with the world "remove" in the subject line.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.


HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use your Personal Information to send you our monthly electronic "V-Mail" e-newsletter and select print advertising through the US Post Office. If you do not wish to receive our "V-Mail" e-newsletter then simply click the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the email newsletter or send us a message at staff@valorstudios.com with "remove email" in the subject line. To opt out of printed advertising by mail, simply email us at the address above and say "remove address."    

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We also use Device Information to show you relevant Valor Studios ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and their partners.


SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
